earnings here just crossing, hp enterprise, david faber has those numbers now. >> a fairly good quartera share in adjusted earnings per share. that is a bit above what had been expected at the 40 cent estimate of the analyst. 12 pts 7 in revenues, a recent split, hp into hp i ink and hp enterprises. she talked about the value of focus she believes is being brought to the new company as a result of the smaller size and executives can spend simply spebd more time with customers and may show the top and bottom line. 12.7 revenue number right in line but it was up 4% on a constant currently basis. given the strength of the dollar and comparisons year over year with a dollar that was still weaker, second half of this year will bring easier comparisons for them. they did have a 3% top line decline when you actually figure in the dollar. of course, everybody loves to adjust for constant currency. it would be the year over year revenue growth for this company. interestingly, they did see some weakness briefly in the mac row area in the americas, customers pulling back. it has resolved itself in

david faber has been watching this story, following it, joins us with the latest. it seems like the ball is in marriott's court at this point? >> it is. big developments this morning, anbang insurance and partners, prima sierra, a chinese equity firm and chris flowers have succeeded in getting starwood board to agree. $78, $2 higher than the initial expression of interest about a week ago, $78 a share in cash is a superior offer to that of marriott. marriott now, though, still is the merger partner of starwood because while they have reached a definitive agreement with the chinese, they have not signed that agreement at this point. they need to give marriott five full business days, until the end of march 28th, in which it can respond to the bid with a bid of its own. as i reported this morning, people involved in the situation expect that marriott will try to counter bid, at least communicating that in the roughly week since we first learned of anbang's interest in acquiring starwood. does that mean that is going to happen? well, that's unclear and certainly we wo
