facebook has 3.25 diluted shares. that price range between $38 to $40 a share would give you a valuation of between $89.3 billion and $9 billion. i want to call your attention to some key facebook dates here. of course, on sunday, this is january 29th, we have cheryl sandberg, the coo of facebook, speaking on a panel in davos on the 15th of february, the third quarter financial numbers, facebook will be forced to use fourth quarter numbers in their ipo. julia boorstin just reported the full year 2011 fiscal numbers for facebook. her sources told her that they are still working through the q-4 audit. so might take some time to work through some of those q-4 numbers. but they have until the 15th of february to use their q-3 numbers. also, look at may 15th. that's when the company will be required by the s.e.c. to actually put its first-quarter 2012 numbers in there. you can imagine, that audit would also take a long time. it would behoove facebook to actually do its offering before that. we are expecting that will happen
