look at the streets of fairbanks. we had wind chill factors at 49 degrees below zero. there is a spot that's about 110 degrees cooler than the bay area was today. the high was 60 degrees above zero. the forecast calls for temperatures of minus 25 with snow and strong winds. compared to the bay area, it's not so bad. temperatures in the 40s and 50s and the sea breeze did pick up that pumped in moisture. the morning was quite as cold, but the highs for 50s and 60s and the same thing tomorrow. the sea breeze reaching fairfield and as long as the winds are onshore, we won't warm up too much, but come thursday and friday, winds turn offshore and a big warm up in the seven-day forecast. the radar looks dry. we did have showers around monterey bay around three hours ago that moved off to the central valley and the inner bay for tomorrow morning through about 5:00. i think the most we will get will be spotty areas of drizzle which we see around the bay bridge and a few pockets of mist around marin into tomorrow morning. the best bet for showers looks like that will increase ar
