i would like to thank you for being here today and thank you for our new center on fairfax. as a service provided to this community, we have provided childcare to families in and around alice griffith since 2000. we look for every opportunity to meet the needs of our families. in doing so we have worked with ucsf practical nursing program and dr. barnes breast mobile addressing the needs of -- breath mobile, addressing the needs of children with asthma. we see and hear the playground that is located in alice griffith. we are asking that childcare services provided near this site. my question to you is how we can ensure it has the space needed to be a 21st century childcare center. we work hard to have safe space for children to learn and families to get help to have a partner to be a partner as they raise their children in the midst of poverty. what do we need to ensure the same sustainability? i'm excited about the development that's happening at candlestick point and i'm in support of the development. but with the new families about to come and the growing need for childca
