the fairfax county man was found shot to death inside his riverside home last year.ching for a suspect and a motive. fox5's paul wagner has tonight's rewind to the crime. when johan delaye killed inside his home last year, he was watching television in his living room. it was just after one in the morning an was facing the window that looked out on the deck in the bask of his house. we believe someone approached possibly the deck and used some kind of firearm and killed mr. delaney. apparently he had his back to the window so he may not have known whatever hit him. he was inside, i'm not necessarily sure he was sitting it's possible he could have seen outside. it's possible he didn't. we may never know that the gunfire was loud, two rapid fire bursts heard by numerous witnesses living by the home a long the river, the gunman escaping into the night. in the minutes that followed no one reported seeing any boats on the river or anyone running from the scene. the most per question looms long, especially in the days to come. the motive is what we start to look into. it's

>> reporter: fairfax county police say that nothing at this point indicates that the suspect darwin torres was motivated by race or religion but they do leave open the possibility that charges could change if not more evidence surfaces. meanwhile, they do still say that it is road rage that darwin torres went into when he encountered those teens on the road sunday morning. an autopsy revealed that 17-year-old nabra hassanen died of blunt force trauma to the upper body. it was 3:40 a.m. and a large group of teens was walking back from mcdonald's to the adams mosque where there had been mrning prayer services, some were on the sidewalk, but police say road itself. nabra hassanen and others were wearing long dresses and head staffers and the teen's father believe that's what drew the suspect's attention's >> many people in this street. why he run behind the muslim ladies and this ladies she have, you know, long dress and the cloth for everybody know these kids is muslim. i want to hook in his eye and ask him what you do this to my daughter? >> police did call it road rage. they say he was dri
