we've had records every day this week so far. 72 in fairfield, 69 in livermore, 72 in santa rosa, so well above average. we're getting used to these numbers and that's how they'll be this bay area weekend. the story now is that jet stream, the big detachment of the jet stream from all this moisture. southern california is getting some rain. the dynamics from the jet stream is all the way out here. if those two were linked up, we'd be getting rain right now. as you see, our radars are spinning dry. that's how it's going to go the next few days. the end of next week there will be a pattern shift and that will lead to what looks like maybe a few weather systems getting in here late next week, into the first couple days of february, but you see things starting to move in our direction. that's a trough, not a ridge, and it's in a good spot. hopefully this all transpires. tomorrow your forecast for clouds, cloudy in the morning and afternoon, hazy sunshine, nice day, temperatures a lot like today. so yellow will be 70s. this isotherm map shows temperatures using colors, lots of upper 70s,
