it happened over the weekend on east bound interstate 80 in fairfield.... police say an s-u-v pulled up alongside the victim and opened fire. the passenger in his car was not hurt. police say... even though there have been more than 100 freeway shootings in the bay area in the last year... they are rare in solano county. the victim is expected to recover.
