interstate 80 from fairfield there is a crash and traffic is going to be slow.here were 12 vehicles involved at one point. according to chp. the traffic is already kind of stacking up for the early commute coming in and out of fairfield. if you drive a little farther than that to vallejo, there's not a lot of traffic backup. but i think one of the reasons people are stuck where i told you about in fairfield. so right now in vallejo where we normally see slow traffic is not there yet. i don't think people have gotten through in a big number. we are also looking at northbound 680 at north maine. there is police action. so that would be just outside her camera view on northbound 680 n. maine. they're taking everyone off the freeway and putting them back on a little later for some police activity. were not sure how long it's going to last. so far it has not caused a big delay. but we'll keep an eye on it for you. were also looking at bay bridge told plaza of with a delay of about 10 minutes. >>> we have a tragic update to a hit-and-run crash in oakland, we told you

and then fairfield will be up to 80. the further east you go, the warmer it will be.so the inland spots will still be feeling the effects of the rifrn of high pressure but -- ridge of high pressure but it is starting to weaken. this low will get to california soon but not until most likely thursday night into friday. that's when you will notice a drop in temperatures . we will go from the 80s down to the 60s because of this front. by friday evening, 7 p.m., you may notice rain drops in the north bay. it could be wider spread light showers for saturday into sunday. and then sunday a chance of rain in the forecast as well. you can also see because of the cooler temperatures, we may get a bit of snowfall across the siera. for this late in the game, it can happen. we will keep rain chances in the forecast for the north bay. sunday is looking like more widespread showers. and look at the temperatures from the 80s down to the 60s this week. >>> we are continuing to monitor this structure fire in concord that has forced some streets to be shut down. so if you are in that are

areas those gusts are stronger especially in antioch, napa, fairfield, sustained winds there at 23 miles per hour. so we'll talk more about the winds and rain coming up. >>> speaking of those winds, neda, we have a wind advisory in place for drivers through the altamont pass area westbound 580 commute already seeing those delays as you come through livermore and things pick up. a travel time of 25 minutes as you head on over towards 680. and we are tracking slowdowns in the eastbound direction of 580 and this is as you head out of castro valley between groveway and palo verdes way. alternating lanes until 6 a.m. with cruising speeds at 10 miles per hour causing delays for drivers. keep that in mind. here's 238 through castro valley to 880 no problem. bay bridge toll plaza, already have a full house developing.
