a sig alert in fairfield remains in effect.d deadly crimes last night. three people ended up dying and three others were hurt. this stretched different scenes including a target parking lot, smart and final, shopping centers and city streets. we are live in san jose with the details. hours as this spanned five different crime scenes in two cities. the only information we have been given about that suspect is that he is an adult man, nothing else, nothing about a motive either. police say this all began at around 3:00 yesterday afternoon with a carjacking and stabbing. one person life-threatening injuries. the suspect attempted to carjack a second vehicle, stabbing another person whose injuries are also life-threatening. in his attempt to get away, we are told the suspect hit a person in the parking lot who is said to be ok. the suspect was then spotted near the intersection of santa clara and 16th street a short time later where police say it appears he intentionally rammed two individuals, killing them. 90 minutes after the ra

mayor adds fairfield a welcoming city and will help those who ask for it.ho are looking to cause trouble are not welcome. a motorcyclist is in critical condition this morning after crashing and fairfield police responded to a call around 9.30 saturday night after a motorcyclist crashed into a barbed wire fence near coeur d lea road and back avenue motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. a preliminary investigation found the writer was traveling eastbound on cornelia road when they got off the road, traveled down an embankment and crashed into that fence. no word yet on exactly how or why they got off the road. police say alcohol does not appear to be a factor. the irs is apologizing after sending out notices to many california taxpayers demanding payments in the next 20 days. the agency now says that was all a mistake. a majority of people in our state have until later this year to pay their 2022. taxes because of the emergency declaration linked to the winter storms. the notices left some people in a panic then swapped the irs
