this is for northern fairfield county. this goes until 5:45 p.m. later this afternoon. you can see we are still under a flood watch. this covers all the counties along i-20 and points north all the way into the upstate until 7:00 tomorrow morning. there is no stopping yet. there is still a lot of showers and thunderstorms moving through. it has cooled off up in newberry right now. and 64 degrees there. winnsboro, 68. saint matthews, 75. columbia at 75. this is all in association with this front of that is pulling an all of that moisture. the models are showing that between now and 7:00 tonight, we could be seeing an additional one up to one and a half inches of rain. pretty much along and on both sides of i-20. by no columbia has only gotten about a tenth of an inch of rain. most of the rain has been concentrated to the northern counties. we do expect that some of the rain will start to move down. don't be surprised if we see even more rain as we go throughout e afternoon and evening. into the lower to middle 70s. we're still dealing with the rain later this evening. low

as we head into northern westchester, moving out of bedford into cross river into fairfield county so ridgefield seeing some of that heavy rain moving out of new canaan into wilton, connecticut, norwalk also seeing heavy rain. long island seeing heavy rain. it moved out of babylon. so we are watching heavier rain, again they are pocket of heavier rain, most of of it is that lighter rain. but as i mentioned it is a steady stream of moisture. it's not done with us yet. we'll see the heaviest rain over the next few hours before things taper off. it's being fed from the gulf. here's the moisture. all out in advance of a cold front, now that front is producing some violent weather in the nation's midsection. severe thunderstorms even some tornado watches and warnings. for us we have at least a chance to see a thunderstorm tonight before it's all over. futurecast at 7 p.m. showing pockets of moderate to heavy rain same at 9 p.m., more of those pockets. we head into 11:30. we start to see it tapering off then we head into tomorrow morning. now we have the clouds and also a recurrence of some
