this is photographer amy, she usually is down the shore but in fairmount today. if you find a spot in the shade today and shade your eyes, you can groom yourself like this cat, they like to do that. a perfect day for grooming. cool shot thank you amy. 83 is the current temperature, it's getting warm out there and winds 8 miles per hour. and as we take a look at the temperatures across the region, everybody is looking warm at this point. 82 in allentown and 82 in philadelphia, and 84 in wilmington and 84 in millville, and down the shore spots are managing to get into the upper 70s for the first time in quite a while. and accuweather is showing you the lack of cloud cover, we had some high thin cloud cover streaking through in the southwestern portion of the region. it's falling apart as it moves east and we have dry air in place and high pressure keeping us warm. 87 is the high in the lehigh valley. and lots of sun and warm there. down the shore a lot of spots getting into the upper 70s. we'll go 77 in some of the communities and others are going warmer than that.

tracker6 live double scan showing no rain out there this evening and the action cam taking a look at fairmountk where it was just spectacular. blue skies, sunshine, everything is blooming. hopefully you got outside and enjoyed the weather today. because, yes, things are going to be changing dramatically tomorrow. rain is on the way and how much you get really depends on your location. it's a pretty good soaking across our entire viewing area but looks like the heaviest rain will be south. so the northwest suburbs generally about a half to an inch of rain. the i-95 metro area including philadelphia about three-quarters of an inch to an inch and a quarter and central delaware and south jersey this is where we're looking at the potential for more than an inch or an inch and a half of rainily i wouldn't be surprised if some areas end up with more than 2-inches of rain. today made it up to 76 degrees. it was beautiful. but we have not hit 80 degrees once this may. we hit it twice in march, three times in april. but last year in may, by may 20th we already had 13 days of temperatures in the 80's. if

that's between hunting park avenue and fairmount avenue. a little bit of a delay in either direction because of that, that construction typically clearing about 5:00 in the morning or so. sometimes they run a little bit behind schedule. we'll keep you updated there. as for the rest of our drive times, no problems or delays, the schuylkill, 95, into center city, we're doing okay. the blue route southbound from the schuylkill to 95 is still in the green and 16-minute drive time. the vine street expressway currently closed for ongoing construction. this is right around 24th street. the westbound lanes headed towards the schuylkill expressway, no traffic in between the schuylkill and broad street. that's where they have that closed. typically removed around 5:00 in the morning. again, those things change as well. we'll keep you updated for the rest of the morning. >> the vine street expressway is closed right now in center city because of the next phase of an ongoing bridge project. penndot is in the process of replacing more than a dozen bridg
