implement some sort of order and give relief to southerners and also in the aftermath of war and they are falking about the civil rights of 1866 which for the first time defines citizenship in u.s. history. some states in new england gave black men the right to vote. most southern states did not. as a state, you can decide what rights to give a person? only during reconstruction that you have a national idea of citizenship. yes, there are federal laws that regulated immigration. only whites can enter this country. it a racial law earlier. here, you have a different view. it was to give people the basic rights, right to sue, own property, enter into contracts. you think these are minor rights but these are important rights if you were to be paid adequately for your wages. it was very important for black people to get the basics. radicals are going further saying, no, give them the right to vote. that's what citizenship is all about. black men at least -- no one thought about the women, except the feminists, should have the right to vote. we should be giving them the right to vote. these are the bi

three of the accused hall of famer marshall falk plus ike taylor and heath evans won't be returning toing season. yesterday was the first game of the nfl preseason. a lot of people tuned in to see if players stood for the national anthems. players stood for the flag as the league continues to work with the players' union on a new anthem policy. as for the hall of fame game, the ravens won. electronics arts is apologizing after cutting out colin kaepernick's name, claiming the omission was a misunderstanding. big shawn pointed out on twitter that kaepernick's name was removed from one of hi verses. they responded and said we made an unfortunate mistake with the madden nfl sound track. members of the team misunderstood the fact that while we don't have rights to include collin kaepernick in the game, this doesn't include sound tracks. we messed up. ea said they would correct the mistake in a few days. today is tom brady's 41st birthday, the oldest starting quarterback in the nfl. a new report on deflate gate shedding some light. abc news reports that tom brady could have avoided his four
