a little bit to the east of fallon. as we zoom in on live doppler, the sierra seeing snowfall tonight. winter storm warnings and weather advisory still in effect. things are pretty quickly turning to rain as they make it over the crest. that is what we will see on the valley floors. as temperatures drop, it is possible to see a mix of snow and rain by tomorrow morning. outside in reno, we're sitting at 41 with partly cloudy skies and winds out of the north at 9 miles an hour. in effect here. winter storm warning for the western part of the sierra through 10 am tomorrow with up snow possible there. a winter weather advisories affecting western nevada with up to 4 inches of accumulation possible below 5000 feet. then we have high winds out there. and advisory in effect until 10 am with gusts upwards of 65 miles an hour in wind prone areas. we will have a closer look at how winds will play out overnight and then your seven- day forecast coming up in a few minutes.>>> despite objections, the new york city council is giving
