thanks to katy she gave us this picture from north falmouth. the sunset was we've had at lo of beautiful sunsets this summer, that's for sure. is your -- sunrises too. the severe drought was ex tended this week down into southeastern massachusetts down through plymouth county. the extreme drought is in the same area as the week before according to the drought monitor. we needed the rain badly and boston missed out yesterday. we had some heavier hitting some communities on the south shore. some brief downpours just north of boston up through lynn and places like that. there's boston. the showers were right south of boston sort of weakened, went north of born -- of boston, boston didn't get any rain out of it. there were heavier showers in some locations in plymouth county and down over the cape as well. that was about the end of that. it appears almost a shoe in driest summer in record. in boston we're had 3.92 inches in 2016 and the prove -- the previous record for the driest summer was 3.97 back in 1957. there's not a chance of getting more sh
