right now, 35th avenue is open to pedestrians and traffic and we're getting a clearer picture from the fam of what happened to the 2-year-old boy. just before 2:00 a mother was visiting her sister in law and her 2-year-old was playing with a ball and chased that ball in the street. the bus headed to merit college struck the boy who made his way in the street. this is a horrible situation of course for the family and police. >> i'm a parent myself and it's sad and heart breaking. there are many officers, men and women that responded very quickly and professionally and making the choices to assist in whatever capacity they can. so, it is a very tragic and heart breaking incident. and we all take it to heart.
