we know that the city continues to work towards memorial projects online, such as the civic center and accessibility standards. we do not yet have enough. permanent housing is kind of far down the horizon. as long as the city is using these sro's to house people, we still have an obligation to provide access. let me take a minute to define for you what program access really is. it means that the percentage of usable units must be proportionate to the number of residents in need accessibility to function properly. whether we call these individuals seniors or people with disabilities, it is the matter that they stop and need basic features, such as gravel bars, accessible elevators, wide doors, to safely use their environment. it is not simply enough to say that we have a percentage of 5% or 10% of the available rooms in the city accessible in usable. we must make sure that the supply meets the demand in order for the city to meet its civil rights obligation. therefore, we would like to recommend, in addition to the wonderful recommendations in the report, that these -- that they city -- that the city survey the existing stock based on features. it is important to know a

as far as where the city is headed, 45% say city matter are on the wrong track versus 40% would believe the opposite but still that is nowhere near the depths from the early '90s when we had 70% of resident in the city thinking that the city was in bad shape. now, polls on mayor gray's performance on city services, improving schools, create jobs, those thins that mat stored voters, the majority said they don't think he is doing a very good job. more than 60% said he is not hoppest and trustworthy. and said they do not believe he is running an ethical administering. going deeper into the numbers, a couple of things i found interesting. 45% say they believe corruption in the city government is about the same as it always has been so it is almost like they think mayor vincent gray isn't doing a good job, they think he ought to resign but they think it is a little bit of status quo and the ma jort say they don't believe that d.c.'s ethical troubles are worse than any other large city. >>> more trouble for montgomery county's ride-on bus system. a line of buses linked to a series of fires ha
