[applause] so everyone, cindy for the past seven years has been the executive director of san francisco safe here in our city. safe for those of you who don't know, i believe most of you know of it, it's an organization focused on safety in our community, in our neighborhoods, i think probably best known for neighborhood watch and so forth over the years, and has set up hundreds in san francisco but also does a lot with personal safety protection, involved with businesses in our community, and before coming here to the board of supervisors, i had the honor of being on the board of directors at ss-safe and i see a number of the board members and our police department including chief sir and the ca
