i was in fayetteville, north carolina, in my home state. fayetteville is not a big city. the police force there is -- what is it, under 100, ron? most police forces are that size. when they were rolling out body cameras, which we support through our grants. we're trying to influence the use and consistent use of body cameras throughout law enforcement. fayetteville sat down and said we could write a policy on how we'll use the film. when do we turn it on, how do you store it? when do you release it? if the community doesn't accept that policy or understand or see that policy, they're never going to accept these results. so what they did, which i thought was actually simple, yet brilliant, you know, the small things make such a huge difference. they basically said we're going to call some community meetings and tell the community we're going to write this policy. please come in and tell us, what are your concerns? so they can be baked into this policy. now that's not something that everyone thinks to do. but it is something that people can raise with their departments. eve
