>> jesse: okay, mike, you have to assume they went in interest and aseized all kinds of electronic communications we know they broke into the safe and retrieved whatever is in there as well. we are talking about written documents. documents that could have been there from his time as president. there could have been tax documents. documents that he would have there for decades. we don't know what exactly they seized. we have to assume they seized pretty much everything. there has to be zero trust of the fbi when it comes to political operations like this. after the russia collusion situation. that hoax, which was determined to be a hoax since there was no actual collusion as determined by special counsel robert mueller and then you have what they did with the whistleblowers according to what we heard with recent reports before the last election covered up all sorts of information with the laptop of hunter biden before that election. and now this right before a midterm election. i mean, we are talking about three elections in a row, mike, that the fbi has been heavily involved in on the side of the democrats. do you think this country is going to handle this well? i don't. >> well, there is obviously speculation about president trump's future. he was at the cpac convention in dallas over the weekend where he won a straw poll there with a very large conservative group and so all kinds of speculation about whether he is going to announce another run for the white house. before the midterms or potentially after the midterm election. so there is a whole lot of politics involved with this. but, you better believe it's unclear what they were looking for but this is about as high profile of a raid as you would get. going into the home of a former president of the united states and so one would expect to be very thorough. not entirely clear what exactly they were looking for but probably, as you suspect, if it's a large group of fbi agents, they are probably grabbing all kinds of things but we don't know exactly what they are looking for jesse. >> jesse: thanks a lot, mike. it's not just going into the home of a former president. buck sexton joins me now. former cia officer. you are going into the home of a presidential candidate. he hasn't announced yet but everybody assumes he is running for president. this is after they went after his campaign with wiretaps and other federal investigative raids. this is insane, buck. >> jesse, almost feels like preemptive coup. we heard about the insurrection. this is meant to prevent donald trump from being able to run again. everyone is very aware. >> fact that democrats have been preparing and they have been talking about this for quite some time. and the notion that somehow suddenly there is this great need to go around all the cooperation, all the agreements, all the documents, everything that has been given up to this point for a raid on the former president's residence?
