alison kosik takes a look at what this indictment could mean for fedex. >> reporter: fedex shipped 10ges a day all over the world. now, some of those packages have gotten the company into trouble. fedex has been indicted for knowingly shipping prescription drugs to dealers and addicts from illegal online pharmacies. the charges come after a nine- year federal investigation. according to the indictment, fedex knew something shady was going on. aggressive customers, who would jump on trucks, threaten drivers and demand their shipments immediately. in response, fedex had customers pick up certain packages instead of delivering them. fedex says it's innocent and will plead not guilty to the charges. in a statement, the shipping giant says, quote, we continue to stand ready and willing to deport and assist law enforcement. we cannot, however, do the job of law enforcement ourselves. fedex also says it has repeatedly asked the dea for a list of illegal online pharmacies, but has never been given a list. according to the government, the indictment highlights the importance of holding corpora
