and so in the garamendi-feinstein legislation, we have $200 million for water recycling. so that we can recycle that water and reuse it. and make use of water that's already available. we know, for example, that in los angeles there is approximately a million acre feet of water in los angeles that's not now being used. in fact, it is being dumped into the ocean. and with this recycling program , a million acre feet of new water can be available in southern california. oh, and by the way, let's put this back up here. for those of you that are not familiar with california, we're talking about the los angeles basin here. so the recycling in this basin can deliver a million aircraft feet of water over the next decade or so, and that -- acre feet of water over the next decade or so, and that water can be put back into the great aquifers of southern california and even down into the san diego area. they are contaminated, but they can be cleaned and the water recycled and put back in, taken out and cleaned and round and round it goes. a million acre-feet. what does it mean to no
