the federal aid, 17 counties now face the threat of running out of water here in clovererdale, and felton facing severe water shortages, experts say without rain they could run out of water within just a few months. and remember it is not just the bay area, several counties area-wide are at risk. and they used to collect enough revenue to back up water supplies. they are hurting particularly, those you see on the map. >>> and happening now, a rough commute for drivers heading in the eastbound direction along the san mateo bridge, all happening before the evening commute got under way. a car hit a power pole and it collapsed. one road was closed, the backup still going on as we speak. drivers telling abc 7 news they have been stuck on the bridge for upwards of two hours. >>> let's move on, an oakland 14-year-old accused of killing his sister during a fight over laundry turned himself into police today. the victim, 17-year-old justice tolliver was killed inside an oakland apartment last thursday. police say her younger brother fired a gun after the two argued about the bleaching of clothes.
