there was an officer in the different district in the 15th district but in the feltonville neighborhood. he sees a dirt bike driving going erratically and then pulls up. dirt bike driver is standing on the ground. there is a witness sitting in the back of the officer's vehicle who was being taken over to the special victims unit. according to both police and commissioner and that witness saying happens, the officer to approach that suspect who starts to back away but the officer reaches out and touches him, feels a gun and then according to the witness, and they have spoken to that witness and he said, yo, bro don't do it, don't do it, and witness speaks and says those word, officer saying similar word don't reach for your weapon and the man, suspect according to both of them does reach for a weapon and pulls the gun. >> we have learned at that point the officer, fires off two shots, and it is believed at least one did strike the suspect at that time, and there is a miss fire a bullet that comes out, they found it on the ground and officer resets his gun. at this point suspect is taken
