last night's debate, taking a live look now in fenton, ohio. this is ted cruz holding his meet and greet there. this, of course, after his debate performance last night. being criticized as one of his poorest in this cycle. let's take a quick listen. >> in south america, they have them but they don't sell them in america because it's illegal to buy the fuel to put in those cars. now, how big a consequence is it for the ethanol industry? we were doing a bus tour a couple of weeks ago. one of the people who joined us was a fella named dave vandergrvandergr vandergrime. built more than half of the ethanol plants in the state of iowa and his entire livelihood from it. dave is enthusiastically supporting my campaign and part of the reason why he has studied what an impact would be on lifting the blend wall and allowing mid level ethanol to be sold and he estimated it would allow ethanol to expand its market share by up to 60%. a massive increase, right now, as you know, we're banging up into the rfs. and it's the blend wall that's effectively a cap.
