we're here at new york avenue and fenwick. it happen around 3:30 this morning.e show you where they ended up. here's what it looked like earlier outside the sixth district police station at 4 nd and benning road. that's where a family member took this 10-year-old girl. now police say the girl was inside of the white pickup when she was shot. we counted at least two bullet holes in the back seat behind the driver's side of the -- behind the driver's side of the truck there. now police say that it looks like this young girl is going to be okay. she should make a full recovery. she was taken to a hospital. now the investigation is beginning. as i said, there were a couple of options closer to where the shooting happened than the sixth district police station. we have the fifth district police station just down the block here. and we also have howard county hospital. so why this person drove so far to take this young girl to the sixth district and then also what led to the shooting, all part of the investigation. reporting live in northeast, i'm tracee wilkins, news
