here is hurricane fernanda. a strong one. it continues to weak ben. the cooler waters of the pacific moving to the west at 12 miles an hour. it's almost 100 miles way from the surn tip of baja and as it continues to push off, it will weaken quickly. this may increase the surf. we'll keep an eye on it for you, but overall, we're look iing at the tropics being less active. closer to home here. and looking at the heat coming back into play. so looking at heat related illnesses possible up to 104 today. heat exhaustion, heatstroke. drink plenty of water. fire danger, always a concern. mt. tam, you can see a little bit of it. 55 in san francisco. 61 in san jose. 10 degrees cooler, 53, half moon bay, so low clouds beginning to lift. soon here from the golden gate bridge. we'll see high clouds throughout the afternoon along the coast. it will be 50. through the next hour or so. then the numbers will rapidly warm. probably 3 to 4 degrees an hour as we get past 8:00, 9 clock. notice how clear it is. you can see the sun there in the background. so triple digit
