we'll probably flair up showers that come on shore through the carolinas and could be prestorm rain coming in to ocean city as soon as tomorrow afternoon or tomorrow night. but this is danny, the track on tropical storm danny takes it up the coast and takes it close enough to cause a major interest for ocean city and even for us around the chesapeake bay. the track gets a lot of people concerned because you start thinking about isabel. this is not an isabel storm. isabel was close to a category 5 and storm that actually tracked inland and dragged water up the bay. we may still have high surf, may have high tides pushing up the bay with localized flooding but with winds of 60 miles per hour this morning, expect it to reach about hurricane status as we head on in through saturday morning. by that point it's about 150 miles to the southeast of ocean city. this cone here of error means it could be farther west close to the coast or farther out to sea. then we take it up towards new england, could be problems for eastern new england and over towards cape cod heading on in through saturday eveni
