>>i'm james fletcher we've got plenty of news to get to and we will in short order but first let's say good morning to john find out more about today's weather good morning john good morning james, it's going to be another nice one today temperatures a little bit cooler than we were yesterday and certainly a lot cooler than we were earlier this week, but we are staying dry for yet another day so a pretty favorable one for venturing outside taking care of things before rainfall arrives in pretty short order here what we are going to be seeing today is a touch of coastal fog but most of us are actually off to a pretty clear start you look outside from our sutro tower cam looking down at san francisco shows you that clear view that we've seen for much of the week so far there are a couple of spots right along the immediate coastline where we are seeing that fog pushing right back on and that includes on the south and the san francisco into daly city couple of foggy patches out there as well as up into northern point rays on over into portions of moran the coastal areas of sonoma counties

>>i'm james fletcher let's start the hour before we get to the headlines with a check of weather and traffic we've got john rain is standing by with that. let's begin in the weather center good morning john good morning james we are looking at some pretty nice conditions out there to kick off this monday morning definitely a much different week ahead of us than what we had last week which is that on and off pattern of rain and then dry skies this time around. >>it's just the dry skies and some increasingly warm temperatures. especially later on in this forecast looking outside at our center tower cam this morning skies looking pretty inviting already not talking any fog over san francisco at the moment, although we will be seeing patches of it across the bay at times today right now it's low clouds and them we are looking at some dry skies for the start of your monday morning, a mix of dense fog advisories for solano county inland towards the central valley and then out towards the coast as a result of king tides, coastal flood advisories. that will remain until 03:00pm today now as
