they have opened the floodgates. that is bad news because of the flooding but good news because wscc has been able to warn people. they're evacuating businesses in the downtown historic section of lawrm and brock bridge road which -- laurel and brock bridge road just on the anne arundel county side of the patuxent river. there have been some rescues out of vehicles over there. we're also told there's a homeless camp near the laurel track. in fact, i went and investigated there this morning. could not get to the several tents that are back in the woods. they are under water. and we're told emergency crews are headed over there on the chance that someone may be trapped. let me -- i'm working alone today but i want to take you and show you a little more of the downtown area. behind me here is the marc train station and just above that are some of the parking lots there. the town of laurel has made plans to tow commuters' cars out of these lots if the water gets much higher to try to protect the property of people who le
