we are talking with florence romero, director of stewardship -- and rod when they are is, -- rod lanark. they work in tandem. florence is talking about stewardship as a way of life and sharing of gifts with others. you have seen examples of that, having you? >> i have seen extremely vivid examples of that. it has been inspiring to me. a couple of note -- and i was not aware of any of these prior to my journeys. saint anthony in redwood city, six days a week, feeds 700 people. no questions asked. st. charles and san carlos -- for 25 years, they have gone to mexico to build homes. saint rita and fairfax has gone to help with tutoring programs. it is really a very vivid and vibrant demonstration of people sharing their time and talent. and it was inspiring to me. i think it is a great source of pride for all of us. it is wonderful. >> you mentioned that the stewardship initiative is somewhat new. the concept seems to be somewhat new, at least to me. you have a historical model on how this works. >> it is the diocese of wichita -- >> wichita, campus -- kansas? >> yes. they have been doing t
