why didn't that happen in florida? florida is a little bit different than a lot of the other states you're going to look at around the country. one, because we have annual reassessments of the property taxes so every single year the appraisers get together, the assessors depending on how you are used to the nomenclature, they reappraise every single house across every county. we also have property tax assessments that are capped. we have millage rate caps so we have usually cities, counties and school districts, sometimes we have other overlays that are capped at 10 million. you can't go above 10 millage points to increase the property taxes. they are not very responsive in that way. the other side, though, why didn't that individual's house increase was because we have assessment caps for individual homeowners. so what ends up happening if that person had bought that house for $140,000 and it had gone up to $200,000 that person had to develop a tax cap or this wedge that had gone up over time and it increased to the p
