in put ellis county, the florida department of transportation removed 50,000 cubic yards of sand. all that sand gets brought in with the storm surge and you still have some piles put on the side. a lot of that has been walled off. they will store that and if the communities want it for b-tree nourishment you can bring the sand in and do b-tree nurse meant. bottom line is that brought a lot so they did a good job to help with that. also, i was in been ellis county after the storm but driving around again and we went to a bunch of different spots. people are out working, not just crews working for government or contractors. you have people out there fixing their homes. business folks are out. this is a lot of damage, but people are making progress. you can see that from where we were a few days ago to where we are now and that is not necessarily the usual way these things go. sometimes there is a lot of demoralization and things are not done. that is one of the reasons why it is important when you have a storm and people evacuate that they are allowed to get back to businesses and p
