authorities believe he is on the ground in or near brenton, georgia, a town about an hour north of tallahassee, floridas believed, as you mentioned, to be armed and dangerous. according to the georgia bureau of investigations, this all started when the seminole county deputies in florida tried to pull over phillips and another suspect for reckless driving yesterday. the two suspects allegedly refused to stop and led the deputy on a chase. that's when investigators say troy phillips and the second suspect, brad phillips, began firing at the officers from their truck, injuring one causing non-life threatening injuries. the caseatur county, georgia, where deputies joined the pursuit. the two tried to break into a home, shooting through the door. the homeowner shot back, and the two left. as they were leaving, they shot and struck a decatur county deputy, again, lieutenant justin bedwell was transported to the hospital and is in critical condition at this hour. as for phillips and the second suspect, investigators say they got into their truck and wrecked it a short while later in some wooded areas. that's
