i think what we will see happen is that florida, georgia, texas, in particular republican side, might exacerbate existing bias of their maps with the redraw. on the democratic side, i think states like illinois -- you can certainly squeeze out more democratic districts in illinois, and i think they will do that if there's no constraint on their behavior. new york, most critically. new york has not been gerrymandered by democrats in decades because there has been divided government in new york. i have seen sample maps that look reasonable to the naked eye but net for democrats 20 seats out of new york. pretty aggressive republican gerrymander's in some of these republican states can be significantly offset by states like new york. overall, we could be a little more tilted than we are right now, but nowhere near the conditions we saw in 2011. >> if those who have been criticizing partisan gerrymandering from the left will put their money where their mouth is in states like new york, where there was a super majority of democrats in the legislature, that could be interesting to see. there
