ohio and iowa have gone pretty republican. those were hugely contested in 2000 and 2004. florida remains a huge swing state. look what's happened. michigan, pennsylvania and wisconsin, blue wall that was supposed to save the democrats that obama carried and that kerry carried against push, trump stole those. those are very much in play. up with of the things that happened the degree of democratic gains in 2018 in blue areas in red states are making those states more purple. the five biggest county in texas, i think obama carried those by 80,000 -- clinton carried those by 80 the in 2006. trump won the state. beto carried the five largest counties in texas by 800,000 votes and came close to winning the state. a state like texas, arizona is murp more of a purple state. there are plenty of states -- >> this is what i'm wondering about. when we look at the elections in 2016, 2018, 2020, i imagine we'll see more of that. red states getting redder. blue getting bluer just by virtue of who is on the ballot. donald trump will be running again in 2020 and a lot of those same issues will be there and the voters will
