farther to the west is where we have the more substantial rain falling, really from the florida panhandle all the way through the northern part of mississippi. the main area of low pressure in the upper levels of the atmosphere is pushing northeastward and for the main energy of this is bypassing us, but we'll pick up on more moisture and that will result in the chance of light rain. also into arizona. of course, where the big game is going to be happening on monday, several systems have been moving through to produce rain in phoenix. they're getting showers right now. it looks like by the time the game arrives, the skies will be dry. for us here at home into tomorrow, look for northeastly winds to reinforce the cloud cover, give us 245 chance of overall amounts will stay very low. by the second half of the day, a lot of that is going to push on out, but we'll keep the cloud cover and cool temperatures into saturday. we'll warm autopsy little more a lot in the way of cloud cover. by the second half of the day, a better chance of heavier rain. that will be the case across western north car

we've had a couple of tornado warning pop off over the florida panhandle. a strengthened south, southeasterly air flow. we're replenishinged energy, the moisture count, for adding a bit of fuel to the fire. we're on the southern extent of this extremely powerful system. as we typically are. the farther away the lows from central florida, the less of a risk for severe weather in our neck of the woods. but the panhandle has been a different beast this morning. on top of it all, a mushroom looking canopy of extremely heavy snow in the northeast. which looks now to be washington, d.c. as the bull's-eye of this with a big, big swath of one to two foot amount snow accumulations all the way up to the new england state once this is all said and done. a developing weather situation. we'll keep you upto date. i am not trying to scare you, just laying out the cold, hard facts. stronger storms could pepper into the area by mid-morning. the timing looks to be in the confines, the parameters of 9:00 a.m. to the noon hour. with this racing once it gets on shore to coastal
