the property before you under lease is 1740 folsom. i have on the overhead a shot of the property on folsom. with parking adjacent. you can see where it is just south of the freeway. a look of the configuration of the property, because of the unique nature, you concede the frontage where the building is and the parking that lies in the long dated portion of the -- elongated portion of the l. this is a five-year lease extension for the property of the shareeriff's department. the current term expires in june of 2012. the current rate paid is $23 per square foot per year. everything is delivered with that raged except for electricity. the new rates that we have negotiated is $25.18 per square foot. that escalates $1 per square foot per year for the remainder of the lease. in comparison to the market, here is a quick chart on the overhead for you. you concede that this compares favorably with those in the area. some of which are probably better class office buildings. it is a clear indication of a very willing landlord to work with us on

with market street and folsom. we need something to make this happen. currently, the new buildings that are built, they provide space for by cyclists, during the day. this legislation will work with existing buildings, to require that the people who manage the building allow the bikes to enter the building. either through creating a bike parking area in the building itself, creating space in the building or allowing the tenants to allow the bikes in. this legislation is something new. i am excited to move this forward. if you are an employee, in a building that would fall subject to this piece of legislation, it is not like you have the ability to move your bike into the building, but you have the employer who could make certain that there is space in your office to park the bike, and how space can be created. they would be able to decide on the space being available, and how this can actually fit in the space itself. the building owner and manager would have to make certain that the building was open and available for that relationship to happen betwee

i was part of a presentation with a couple of other commissioners from project sponsors for 2 001 folsom which was approved in an approval process of 2003. this is the completion of the project, which i would be happy to report. it seems to be moving forward, and we have the design presentation that was required for the commissioner to take a look at the design before they went forward. but was interesting out of this presentation, and this was a subject that was frequently brought up. everyone wants to know the context of the people who live in these new projects that have just been completed. the project sponsor volunteered they have about 1000 residents there in these towers. he said the record shows 75% are full-time records. the other 25% are split equally between 12.5% ranchers. we hear a lot of representation, and this is only one project, but it may be representative of many of the new projects that have been built, project early self of market -- south of market. it would appear that a very high percentage of people do make this their full-time residents. also, it is entirely so
