especially the folsom it's a huge event and takes over particle all of folsom and side streets. i'm happy to say that the leadership there has licensed to the complaints about the music and etsz sound level for the music. one thing i've done is this this year folsom there were 3 music stages okay. and what that meant was like if you came from folsom and lovingly accounting street where there's lots of you loud music and a cage you heard the musk. i walked a block you away and you didn't and two blocks away i could have a conversation. you know, we find that folsom fair there's an accomodation for people who love the loud music and some of us who don't like the loud sounds from the speakers. i'm going to be bringing up this with the san francisco pride folks they're having a meeting tonight and a week from tonight and at both those meetings i'm going to bring those issues we need to not allowing the radio station in civic center to be blaring out music from the main stages or from a few stages. i think this commission should by looking at in the next few months to have a discussi

and the project came out of folsom street through soma. sort of central and western soma and create a more pedestrian and bicycle and just sort of neighborhood street there where it's currently serving a high speed volume. we have a significant amount of funding through this project through our impact fee programming. about $20 million in projected funds starting in fiscal year 17. and this project is wrapped up in the central soma eir. it used to be called central corridor and that plan may generate funds for this project as well. in the open category, 17 and folsom is one of the projects. this is a project that we dedicated $17 and folsom is one of the projects. this is a project that we dedicated a couple million dollars to impact revenue and $2.5 million from the state and that's a good example of being able to leverage outside sources for impact revenue. it's under design and we -- they are here and they can speak more on that the other project where in open space we went through planning process to identify and prioritize open space

so the one-way offers a -- this is folsom -- a two-way cycle track. on the north side of the street. and the two-way and a transit-only lane during peak hours. and then the two-way has a separated cycle track on both sides. and again to do these things and widen sidewalks, it's the trade-off again, where we have to take parking or take a traffic lane and it's not to penalize anything, but to accommodate the different kind of trips that are there, but also the new land uses will be hopefully such that someone can walk and bike and take transit to home to the store to their job. so we're hoping that the length and nature of the trips will be different. as far as funding is concerned, to-date it's been accommodated or excuse me, funded by a few grants, and agreements or work orders between the two agencies. moving forward, and right now through environmental, again, a few grants, mtc, the mayor's general fund, and also through moscone. it is a plan that we're also working on to make sure these things are compatible, but moscone is chiping in some money.

the mission in particular has the highest for bicycles by folsom and market street. we've also looked at the changing land use patterns in the area and the area has increased area for bicycling ride. the road is flat and there is key areas that need significant improvement, button general the great network and the topography is very favorable. it's just the condition is such that we are going to need to do a lot more contiguous and connected bicycle infrastructure. what we've development now with the bicycle strategy is a new form of assessment of our existing bicycle network which is what we call level of traffic stride. it's a feel for a general population about how they feel riding their bicycles through different corridor. the level of traffic stress 1-46789 think of the jfk drive or riding through golden gate park. that's where people feel assessment level four, no one feels safe and 2 and 3 are various indications in between. we can see where the areas are that need a lot of work and where are the gaps in the area that need to be closed an where are the systems
