my name is gary and i'm a fourth-generation ford motor company employee. grandfathers worked for ford motor company during world war ii and my father retired from rawsonville after 41 years. i always knew i wanted to work for ford. i am very very proud to be a part of the ventilator project and the amazing job done by ford and the uaw team. i had anxiety when i received the call to volunteer. i did not want to get sick or take it home to my family. however, upon arriving here on the first day, i felt safe due to the new policies and procedures put forth by our health and safety team. it is a great feeling to know that everything we are doing here and each assembly we make is saving someone's life. thank you, mr. president and god bless america.
