crews here yesterday who are working on putting bags down at the intersection of greenwood drive and fordham street in san pablo bay say that intersection floods a lot. they say that strategically placing the sandbags could hopefully divert water away from homes and send them into storm drains instead, although they say that's easier said than done because when the water does get to the storm, grant often times it's backed up because the channel that the water feeds into isn't always maintained. it gets clogged that sand and other debris. and that's a problem. also happening today and overnight shelter is opening up and which will offer some relief from the storm. so anyone who needs to escape the rain can head over to 505, santa clara street. that's actually city hall. so this is on the back side of city hall. the shelter is going to open up at 08:00pm tonight and then again, friday and saturday nights as well where you can stay overnight until 7 the next morning, a limited number of blankets and pillows are available. so if you want one of those are going to be some of the first to arrive,

yesterday were specifically working on putting sandbags out at the intersection of greenwood drive and fordham street in san pablo because that intersection, they say floods a lot. they say the strategically placed in that area will help divert the water away. they hope from homes and put it into storm drains instead. but they do say that it is easier said than done because when the water goes into drains, it oftentimes gets backed up because the channel that the water feeds into isn't always maintained. that often gets clogged with sand and other debris. also happening today and overnight shelter is opening up in filet o to offer some relief from the storm to anyone needing to escape. the rain can head over to 505, santa clara street. that's on the backside of the play of city hall. that shelter is going to be open at 08:00pm tonight. and it will be available friday through saturday night and it will close at 7 o'clock. the following morning, a limited number of blankets and pillows will be available. so first come first, serve free transportation to shelter will also be available via seoul.
