these are some moderate to heavy rain up toward forestville and out toward prince george's county and anne arundel counties. heavy rain out there as well. that will be the case all day long. the front is now past d.c. winds have shifted to the north- northwest. still in the 50s to low 60s. we're dropping into the mid-50s in loudoun county and leesburg and lovettsville. the wind now north-northwest at 17 with the rain, humidity 100% this morning. and the moisture flowing from the gulf coast around mobile and pensacola coming in our direction. it continued to be with us all day long and then finally, this evening, we'll start to get a switch over from rain to snow. winter weather advisories, howard, montgomery, loudoun, northern fauquier, north and west. i do think we'll get a little accumulation here. not much. just north and west of town. central, southern montgomery. a trace to main an inch on the western edge of this. then you could get an inch or possibly two in frederick into leesburg and the highest elevations between win chester and leesburg, you may get two to as much as four.
