. >>> time now 7:03, sheriff deputies investigating a shoot at a home on river road in forestville. they found a man in the living room who had been shot. he was pronounced dead at the scene. witnesses gave deputies a description of the suspect's car, they were able to find it at a near by gas station. they took the suspect into custody and confiscated a gun. the sheriff's office says two cruisers crashed into one another but the deputies were not seriously injured. >>> eight families in pleasant hill need to find temporary housing after a fire damaged their apartment on the solo drive. firefighters say two units were destroyed, two others were damaged by smoke and water. four other units were not damaged but the people living in those apartments could not go back to their homes. firefighters say it's too early to know what caused the fire. >> fire investigator will determine a cause. but at this point we are continuing our investigation. >> everyone made it out of the building safely. >>> republican planned healthcare reform is over after coming up short on votes in washington d.c.
