so they leave fort worth and go back and fly the 50 miles between dallas and fort worth. and they land in dallas. now the sun is shining, the skies have opened up, the day is fantastic. fort worth is on a high. we know what happened in dallas. touching a day like november 22nd, 1963, you don't do that lightly. we knew that it had to be done the right way. it had had to be done sensitively. but one of the stops we had to make was in dallas. and who told the dallas story so well and so respectfully. and how we could tell this it story differently and respectfully and augment the rest of of the day. you are morning story the way they tell the rest of of the day story. so part of the process of developing this tribute was reaching out to the kennedy family and letting them know that we were going to do it. we found avenues and folks who had relationships with the kennedys and had correspondents with caroline kennedy, who was very appreciative of this work. we worked with the architect who designed the kennedy tribute in boston. so that was a good connection as well. none of t

i served at the 25th infantry division out of fort lewis to the 101st out of fort campbell, i did a couple of times in korea. i was an instructor and then ultimately went up to 10th mountain infantry division and that's why deployed with. i always liked the challenges of the military. we talk a lot about teamwork and coming together to accomplish a mission, but the military has a lot of i in there too. you've got to outperform your peers. i always challenged myself to be better than those around me. the army allowed me to go to jump school, ranger school, reconnaissance leaders course, jump master, so many different schools i got the chance to better my skills as an infantry man. it all plays apart. i don't think you could ever have enough training and exercises to prepare you. ultimately, you train to go to war. when we came in in 1996, i saw -- but everybody who goes over there i can say without a doubt is trained for it. we are prepared. >> you sure got the right attitude.
