and the fort bliss soldier is at 49 days. when i look at what you're committing to doing but august -- october and the rating getting to 15 days, we are coming up 130 days army wide, and we are at 131, for the soldier of the wtu at fort bliss. so explain to me the inconsistencies on a bed of fiscal you say you've already achieved and the numbers i'm seeing here for me. and then how you can possibly achieve that goal for october given the wide variance between where you're supposed to be and where you are today. >> yes, sir. and i would tell you i think we are talking about the work we are completing and the current months versus the numbers you're reflecting our for the entire year, the average of everything we have completed. what we know about the work we are completing today, as we look behind in the system, the work coming down the path is much younger. so as we are now achieving for the benefits of notification phase, we are now in a timely position. the capacity that we have will continue to maintain that timely output

. >> at fort bliss bugle, what they were linked to what they were talking about your family member was part of the unit? >> yes, i had a family member, a cousin named ramon gutierrez from delrio, texas, who served on the unit. they was awarded the silver star for valor on the battle field at salerno, italy, captured twice by the german army and escaped twice and he was also awarded -- he became one of the few americans to be awarded a medal by the russian government. >> your reaction when you saw the world war ii documentary by mr. burns and realized latinos were omitted from it? >> yeah. that really lit a fire under me, as far as to get the book out. i think we have a -- a strong opportunity as mexican-americans to tell our stories because if we don't tell the stories, the stories will never be told. so i thought that really lit me to go forward and to continue to write this book. >> still in the process, not on hard covers? >> it's coming out, i'm looking at the beginning of september, early september for book release. >> what are you hope willing that the reader gets out of it, whet
