we've seen flooding already in fort myers. here's the very latest on the dalia at 105 miles an hour, making it category 2 hurricane right now. it is moving over very fertile waters that are so warm, almost bathtub like out there right now. and so is likely to blossom. so by late tonight, early tomorrow morning, we've got a category 3 hurricane, a major hurricane approaching the big bend area, a florida. then here we go coming on shore, maybe near perry. that's the very latest forecast track. now this. what we're worried about is right around the east side of the storm system. that's where you're going to see that big wall of water that we call the storm surge, maybe as high as 10, maybe 15 feet high coming cpon shore somewhere in this area. and because of that, you see cedar key not too far away, almost falling within the uncertainty cone as it moves onshore. but when that comes onshore, that's the most devastating part of hurricanes in law flat. really anything it's pap at that point is going to carry on right through georgia
