richard: leon, what a bizarre day at fort meade. it is one of the most heavily secured areas in the world. today that security was tested, and as you said one man is dead. news chopper 7 shows the chaotic aftermath of a shooting scene that began with a wrong turn. nsa police say shortly before 9:00 monday morning 20-year-old kevin fleming and another man mistakenly pulled up on the heavily guarded entry gates. the two men dressed as women word driving a -- were driving a stolen suv. they quickly popped up security barricades. seconds later, when it rammed an nsa cruiser, officers opened fire. fleming was critically wounded, his companion shot dead. after all this, the gate remain secure. the story began late sunday and baltimore. it was here that wbff reports the stolen car's owner met fleming and his associate. the man took them to a hotel along route one in jessup for a night of partying that included drug use. the next day, his while it and suv were missing. -- the next day, his wallet and suv were missing. the fbi says this was
