you know, last month, the foster city city council approved a plan to possibly move forward with calling about 100 canada geese here in foster city and now supervisor can has come out against that plan. that's going to take a look at some video now. the goose population has been an issue here in foster city for quite some time. the city has tried using nonlethal methods such scaring the guests off with dogs using repellent. anything they could think of really to keep them from gathering in the parks and on the sidewalks. but it hasn't worked. and because they think the the waste from the birds could get into the lagoon and cause problems with bacteria and it poses a health hazard. last month they authorize staff to start working on getting the permits needed to kill again. about 100 of these keys. now supervisor can upon who is also running to replace jackie spear in the u.s. house of representatives has come out against the city's plan to give us a statement earlier today in which he outlined a part of his thinking on this. he says in that statement that we can learn from other communit
