let's look at the fox 5 doppler radar. near fredericksburg to the south we're seeing storms popping up here. front royal to the north we're seeing storms popping up here. and we have a river flood warning in terms of washington county here to the north. but we're going to see this continuing to pop up into the course of the evening hours and into tonight. and we're just going to kind of be that pop up situation. not everyone is going to get t they're going to see thoirz and everything else. just be prepared with it. where we see the thunderstorms popping up we're going to see heavier amounts of rainfall. overall the western burbs have gotten 2 to 3 inches of rainfall since last night. breaking a record of rainfall in dulles at 2.29 inches, that record set back in 1988. look at some of these numbers. frederick, maryland, 2 and a half inches of rainfall. more than that in rockville. potomac reached almost two inches. 3-1/2 for asheville, virginia and in west virginia they got their fair share of rainfall, 2 inches in shepher

let's look at our fox 5 live doppler radar. you'll see closer to home where we've got a few lingering showers north of d.c. and stot southeast. and across to the west as well. there is a river flood warning for washington county to the north. we go to the weather maps and we did have some improvement. here's a look at totals in terms much rainfall. just over 2 inches as far as dulles is concerned but that's a record that was broken. that record set back in 1988. areas to the west of us anywhere between 2 to 3 inches of rainfall overall. more than 2-1/2 inches for rockville. and as far as virginia is concerned same story. asheville, they got 3 and a half inches of rainfall overall. in west virginia those numbers were up also. 2 inches of rainfall for shepherdstown. here's a look at the current temperatures. it's mild out site. 64 at gaithersburg, 69 at d.c. 70 at fredericksburg to the south and tomorrow we're going to see fog, fog tonight through tomorrow so it will affect your morning commute. be prepared for that. a few shower

in charlottesville, fox 5 news. >>> d.c. police are on the lookout for a teenager who opened fire on a packed metro bus today hitting another teen. it happened on minnesota avenue southeast during the evening rush. police say the two got into a fight. one pulled a gun on the other and shot him. he's expected to survive. no one else was hurt but the suspect got away. police found the gun in a back alley garbage can. >>> we're learning more tonight about a maryland funeral home accused of piling human bodies up like trash. last week an inspector from the state paid a visit to chambers funeral home and crematorium in riverdale. she says she found a large pile of bodies stacked 12 feet high. many of them are cadavers from georgetown university school of medicine. georgetown says it's cutting ties with the crematorium. >> we are terribly sorry for this situation that has occurred. we have completed our agreement with the medical school. we did make a slight error in judgment. >> the state is shutting down the funeral home but can
