it's a fox. it's a domesticated fox. they built it in the often minnesota 40 degree weathers -- -40 degree weather of siberia, a hundredth of the time it took our ancestors to nest candidate wolves into -- domesticate wolves into dogs. this is a picture of my friend and colleague, ludmilla, she's 83 years old and every day including today for the last 58 years, she has been leading what's company-known as the silver fox domestication study. for the last seven years, i've had the honor of working with her to produce a popular book about this where we tell the science and we tell the behind the scenes stories. what i'm going to tell you about today are folks that will melt your heart and lick your ears just like this fox did five seconds after they put him in my arms in siberia. more than that, i'm going to tell you about the science that's been done that's made us rethink the process of domestication, a process that's critical to our own evolutionary history. so we're going to try to walk through this 58-year experiment i

in use, with fox news and fox is this, they are very strong. sports platforms, the fox tv network has a lot of sports. they would think those are things that are really interesting to people, very popular, and if we focus on that and put more money into those we can mmp put more money into those we can ramp up our investment. and that the same time there is all this discussion about power and who holds power in terms of news output, for example. as samira mention, rupert murdoch is trying to buy up the entirety of sky in the uk. one of the rumours is that he might have to forego sky news, the 2a hour news channel, as a consequence of that, if he was to get approval for that move forward. similarly, in the united states, we have at&t buying time warner, and there are discussions that they might have to give up things like cnn if that gets the all clear. it is interesting, the all clear. it is interesting, the shifting sands, with regulators assessing whether power lies and whether it is too much or not. yes, traditionally companies try a lot of
