fox two news all right, a blizzard warning for the sierra will go into effect thursday through most of this upcoming week, and officials are warning that will be extremely dangerous to impassable and possible mountain travel during this time . >> with that, we bring in chief meteorologist bill martin. so what's the window here? if people do want to go up, do they got to go tomorrow? >> yeah, yeah, i would definitely go thursday morning would be the, you know, thursday before lunchtime and then you're pushing it and getting back. it's going to be tough. and blizzard warning is a big deal especially up there. and you're going to see it over a few days. and you could see eight feet nine feet. i've seen models that say ten feet of snow maybe, but you know, let's just say it's going to be six feet of snow in three days, two feet a day. that's going to shut things down. so what does it mean? means don't go. i hate to say that, but don't go unless you got unless you're going to go early and leave late here are the highs today. and by the way, you're thinking, okay, a lot of snow up there. that means a bunch of rain here. and it doesn't. it means kind of light to moderate rain compared to the weather that
